Are all classes beginner friendly?
Yes! Whether you’re new to fitness or a seasoned pro, our classes are designed to meet you where you are. Everyone’s welcome here!
What if I’ve never boxed/done barre before?
No experience? No problem! Our classes are beginner-friendly, and our trainers will guide you every step (or punch) of the way. Just show up ready to have fun!
What should I bring to my first class?
You’ll need grippy socks for all classes —don’t worry, we’ve got them if you don’t! And gloves for any classes that have a boxing series. Remember to bring a water too!
Do I need my own gloves, or can I rent/buy them at the gym?
No gloves? No problem! We’ve got rentals and top of the line custom Bag+Barre gloves for sale. Grab yours when you arrive! If you have your own gloves, you can bring those too!
Do I need hand wraps for boxing?
Nope! They're just helpful for added wrist and knuckle support. Wraps are available for purchase online or at the studio. Grab a pair and ask a trainer to wrap you up! We're happy to help!
Policies
At Bag+Barre, we’re committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and empowering space for all members. Below, you’ll find our studio policies to help ensure the best experience for everyone.
Booking Policy
To book a class at Bag+Barre, you must book a class through the website or Bag+Barre app. All classes and retail sales are final with no refunds. Classes and packages are non-transferable. Bag+Barre is in no way responsible for the safekeeping of any personal belongings.
Class Cancellation Policy (applicable to all class purchases)
You must cancel class online or on the app at least 1 hour before the start of class out of consideration for all members and trainers.
If you are on the waitlist, you may be added to class up to one hour before the start of class. If you do not plan to come to class, please remove yourself from the waitlist.
Memberships
You can cancel your recurring membership 30 days in advance of the next auto renewal date by emailing mackenzie@bagandbarre.com. Your membership will continue to renew until cancelled.
Photo & Video Release
By joining Bag+Barre, you give us permission to capture photos and videos of you during classes and events. We may use these images for social media, marketing, and promotional purposes. This includes posting on our website, social platforms, and other media. If you ever have concerns about a specific photo or video, just let us know!
Privacy Policy
Information Collected
We collect information from you when you sign up for a class, purchase a membership, attend a special event, begin personal training sessions or anything alike. When registering, we may request personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your name, phone number, address, email address, date of birth, emergency contact information, and communication preferences. Our payment processing service provider (Glofox, Square, Wix, etc) collects and uses your credit card information; however, Bag+Barre does not store or maintain your credit card or banking information.
Our Use of Information
Your personal information will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason without your consent, except as necessary to register you for classes and other Bag+Barre-related activities and to communicate with you about them.
The email address you provide may be used to send information and updates about your account, as well as occasional company news, promotions, or service updates. These emails will include unsubscribe instructions should you wish to discontinue these updates.
Third-Party Service Providers
We partner with trusted service providers to deliver our Services, including cloud-based hosting platforms, contact and sign-up forms, email communications, and customer management systems. (At the time of this policy, we primarily use Glofox for our customer management system.) You agree that, to the extent necessary, we may share your information with these operational partners.
Information Protection
We implement security measures to protect your personal information. We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties, except for trusted third parties who assist in operating our business and agree to maintain the confidentiality of your information. We may also release your information when required to comply with legal obligations, enforce our site policies, or protect our rights, property, or safety, as well as that of others.
